Hey,
There's a new mod out, that adds new unique quests for every clan, does anyone know if it's compatible with the compmod?

Not yet, but I have been talking to the author about making it into (possibly the first) CompMod plugin. But I think he will want to let it bake a little and get the bugs out first.

I'm starting to make an integration patch between 1.4 compmod and 1.21 Clan Quest. If I succeed (i have a LOT of experience in this type of things, so i think I will success) I'll make a post.

The issue with merging with clan quest is that there are some incompatible requirements. For example, in clanquest, if you are one of the clans, they ask you to kill Therese/Jeanette Vorman. Well.. what if they are a member of your party? Same issue with Bertrum and VV and Ash. And then there is the question... if you enslave someone you were told to eliminate, is that not essentially the same thing?

So to merge the 2 mods, you would need to know the 2 mods pretty intimately and then make decisions on how to handle these points of conflict. Maybe you allow everyone to be a companion, but update the companion dialogs so that you can order someone to kill themself. I think Clan Quests author was simply going to put conditionals in the dialog so that certain companion options are removed based on which clan you are playing.

Finally there are some (minor) technical issues. This game only supports a limited number of items (131 or something like that). Only 2 to 6 of the item slots are free for use. I used 2 of the free item slots in the mod. In fact, I think I might have added another 1 when I added Boo as an easter egg. Clan quest probably needs some slots as well, so in the end you will have to make some item sacrifices.

Anyway, good luck to you. (You should probably let the author of clan quest know in case he has already done this).
